1). False alarms are at a minimum when you use good quality equipment that is easy to use. If you do have a false alarm you simply call our Central Dispatch Center and give us your secret password. If it matches what we have on record the alarm will be canceled and the authorities will not be dispatched.

  • Some Cities have false alarm ordinances. Please contact your local city or county offices to obtain a copy of their ordinance.
  • Life Tyme Systems DOES NOT charge you for any false alarms.

3). If you are planning to move please review your Life Tyme Systems Alarm System Monitoring Service Agreement for it’s terms and conditions. The terms of the contract require a written notice from you upon the end of the term if you intend to cancel the Agreement. If you are still in the term of your contract please contact Life Tyme Systems main office number (763-783-9223) and consult with our service staff for alternative plans to transfer or move the Agreement to another location.

4). If you are shutting the phone service off or you are changing your phone service over to a Cable Co. digital phone system, adding DSL high speed internet access, adding VOIP (voice over IP) phone service or changing your phone service in any way contact Life Tyme Systems service department immediately. This will insure your security system will still be able to communicate it’s alarm signals to our Dispatch Center. LTS offers several flexible monitoring plans, and options to cover all areas of your security needs.

5).Security Systems protect from all kind of things.

6). Peace of mind is knowing whole you’re away from your home or business your system is watching and reporting what’s going on. No more bothering the neighbors to have them check in on your home or business in the middle of the winter. With services available from Life Tyme Systems you can even check in on your house from your remote location.

7). We care about your security and we back it up with the best customer care in the industry. Our trained technicians will do a complete and easy to follow system orientation with you upon the complete installation of your system. We promise to come back at anytime to re-demo the system to you if you need to brush up it’s operation. Feel free to call at anytime. Many common questions can be answered simply over the phone.

  • We will leave the easy to follow instruction manuals with you so you may reference them at anytime you may need to.
  • One button to turn the system on and a simple 4 digit number to shut it off. It’s that simple!

8). Refer to your user manual to view the system trouble section. The system has a self diagnostic circuit that supervises itself for such things as low back up battery, telephone line trouble, AC power fail, and many others.

  • To silence the beeping until you find the problem, press the # sign on the keypad. This will temporarily quiet the beeping. Contact Life Tyme Systems Service Department once the problem is detected.

The most common call to our service department often times is not even related to your security system. LTS smoke detectors DO NOT make any noise. Only the security system siren will make any noises.

  • If you hear smoke detectors making a loud screeching or beeping noise it is most likely the hard wired (with battery backup) smoke detectors put into your home per the building code by your electrical contractor. If they are beeping replace the 9 volt battery. If they are screeching loud check for a possible fire first. If nothing is found contact your electrical contractor for service.

9). The system will alert you with the above mentioned beeping when the backup battery does not hold its charge anymore. The batteries will vary in life expectancy depending on usage and the number of power failures you have had. In general the batteries are good for about 3-5 years. Similar to your car battery. Contact Life Tyme Systems to arrange a replacement if the battery is found to be no good.
